Hey y’all! It’s been a minute but here I am doing an update post on my life and how I’ve been doing. These are all little updates but in the coming month, I plan to do a Book Club Bae (new segment alert), Let’s Talk Natural Hair, & Outfit of the Week post to further elaborate so bare with me.
So a couple of post ago I told y’all I started a new position. I can honestly say I think I’ve finally found my sweet spot in relation to my career. Y’all know I’m a job hopper but so far I’ve been enjoying my time with the company and in my role. Everyday, I feel like I learn something new and intriguing and I couldn’t be more happy about that. It’s been a while since I’ve been in a place professionally that I liked all aspects of the work I was doing.
Keeping it real… Estate
Y’all this is honestly so depressing! I’ve literally only put one offer in (that was later not accepted because of a multiple offer situation) since COVID hit. I keep hearing from people that the market will pick back up but I’m honestly getting tired of it all. Like I’m so tired of it I don’t even want to elaborate more on it so I’ll stop here…
Outfit of the Week
So I’ve been going to work Monday – Thursday and my go to work looks for the summer and spring are gym shoes, slacks, a blazer, and a classic v neck tee (most times white or black). I actually get excited putting outfits together! The work environment at my new job is more formal so I go for the formal up top look with a casual bottom.
Book Club Bae
So this is something new I’ll start but I’ve been reading y’all! These past two months I’ve read Relationship Goals by Mike Todd and I’m currently reading Piece of Cake by Cupcake Brown. I’ll start doing monthly book report posts because I’ve honestly read some good books this past year!
Let’s Talk Natural Hair
So y’all remember when I said I hated wash and go’s? Well forget I ever said that! Recently, I’ve abandoned my usual twist outs for wash and gos and haven’t looked back! I don’t know what it is about the summer heat but my twist outs weren’t lasting like they used to.
